Born in Huelva in 1980, Martín has a degree in Audiovisual Communication (University of Seville) and is a founding partner of La Claqueta PC (with Olmo Figueredo). Among other projects, he has directed the docummentary films Life in flames (2015) and 30 years of darkness (2012, Nominated for Goya Awards, Best Documentary Film), the animated series Artpoetry, the documentary Becquer Unknown (2010) or the shortfilm The defender (2011).

In 2018 he has published his first graphic novel as a writer of A story of old dogs (illustrated by Juanma Espinosa). Martin has received several honours, like the Andalusian Youth Media Award in 2012. Since 2016, he is the Director of Huelva Iberoamerican Film Festival.
